Supplier matching / scope before price
Custom insulated duffel bag coolers: sourcing coordination
Insulation language is not a confirmed holding time. Begin with the contents, journey, ambient conditions and cleaning needs, then ask potential suppliers to respond to the same shell, liner, closure and packing brief.

What coordination covers
Turn the use into measurable requests
Record capacity in L and external dimensions in cm or inches, then identify the intended contents and whether the liner contacts unpackaged food. Ask which liner material, seams, closure and insulation construction are proposed. A coated exterior does not by itself establish leak resistance or suitability for food contact.
Seek suppliers against the same revision
Send quantities in pieces by color, decoration placement, sample requirement and US delivery location. Request the MOQ per variant, sample charges, tooling or setup costs, carton pack ratio and carton dimensions. Possible factory matches remain subject to supplier response and buyer review.
Normalize the returned offer
Compare material and construction first, then unit price basis, packaging and freight scope. Record currency and exclusions separately. A lower unit price is not comparable if one offer excludes the shoulder strap, custom print or destination charges. An economical preference may accept fewer pockets; a high-end preference may prioritize finish and sample revisions.
Evidence stays attached to the proposed item
Ask for a sample with the specified liner, insulation, zipper and logo rather than approving a related bag style. If thermal retention matters, define starting temperature, fill, coolant, ambient conditions, opening frequency and test duration before requesting exact-item test evidence. We coordinate questions; we do not conduct or certify a thermal test.
Review an actual sample for accessible cleaning, seam construction, strap attachment and packed shape. Supplier timing is conditional on materials, artwork approval and order scope. Factory quotations, availability and lead times require confirmation. Use the Order Brief to record open decisions and the procurement checklist for a comparison sequence.
Request a cooler-bag quotation review
Include your temperature-related question as a requirement to investigate, not a performance claim. Optional budget should specify currency and per-piece or complete-order scope; choosing a supplier tier describes your preferences, not an independently verified rating.
Send quantities in pieces, your US destination and the required arrival date. Budget and supplier preference are optional; quotations, availability and timing require supplier confirmation.
