State shell and lining materials, fabric weight if relevant, capacity in L and external dimensions in inches or cm. Capacity alone does not establish compartment space. Identify the zipper opening, strap adjustment, base reinforcement and intended carrying load for supplier confirmation.
Give the logo placement and dimensions, number of colors and artwork revision. Embroidery and printing can behave differently on coated shells or thick leather. Request a decorated sample and note whether the quote includes artwork setup, labels and individual packing.
Record the pack ratio and carton dimensions for the proposed bag. A flat-packed textile duffel and a structured leather bag can occupy different shipping volumes. Ask suppliers to quote the same quantity, destination, freight basis and exclusions before comparing total cost.
Separate player, coach and equipment bags if their capacity differs. Provide the number of pieces by color and personalization requirement; an approved logo does not approve the complete production sample.
Plan a team briefIdentify assortment variants, barcode responsibility and carton labeling. Ask for actual packed dimensions and gross weight rather than estimating landed cost from a product photograph.
Build an order briefA custom leather duffel bag may prioritize finish and structure; custom insulated duffel bag coolers need a defined lining and thermal review path.
